    Example: Convert wax to metal

Wax model weight   x   factor of metal wanted    =   weight of metal wanted

                1 gram (wax)      x    10.40 (sterling factor)    =   10.40 gram  sterling

Example: Finding weight of an object in a different metal than it is now.

Model weight in metal     x   factor of metal wanted    =   weight of metal wanted

              Sterling Ring 10 gram.    x   1.25 (14K gold factor)     =    12.50 gram   14Kgold
